The page opens with: Bask in the sun while showing it off. Made from organic cotton and featuring a high-profile fit, this hat is your go-to for sun-soaked days. It lists at 36.00 USD, down from 45.00.

From the canopy down to the roots
Sustainable apparel and accessories for women and men, made with hemp, organic cotton, recycled polyester and Tencel. This page walks down the forest layers of tentree.com, from the canopy where the campaign photos are taken to the roots where the planting is counted.
The brand's own count reads 120+ Million Planted, and the goal is 1 billion trees by 2030.
Layer one: the count
Most stores count units sold. This one counts trees. Each item carries a tag, and each tag stands for 10 trees planted on your behalf.
The promise is spelled out like this: For every item purchased we plant trees, in an effort to regenerate ecosystems, capture carbon and provide planting jobs in communities around the world.
Start with the smallest thing in the grove, the Conway Hip Pack at 30.00 USD, marked down from 50.00. It is cut from recycled polyester, and the four photos beside this text show it laid flat, worn, opened up and seen from the side.
The product page calls it a durable hip bag: a functional, eco-conscious companion for all your adventures. Nothing about it is complicated, which is exactly why it makes a good first unit.
The reason to begin here is arithmetic you can do in your head. One bag, 10 trees. One hoodie, 10 trees. The row of ten products that follows is a small forest you could assemble in a single order.

Ten pieces, 10 trees each. Hats, beanies and a couple of layers keep the row short enough to take in at one glance, and every caption carries the price exactly as listed.

Layer two: the stand
Small as in bringing your own bags to the grocery store, or drinking from a reusable water bottle—or making sustainable choices when you shop.
Before anything is planted, something is noticed. This second layer is about that moment of noticing: a hillside, a ridge, a river, and the plain decision to make the next purchase a little more careful than the last one.
The ridge behind this card is one of the campaign photographs on the tentree.com home page, and the invitation printed next to it reads Join Us in Protecting the World We Play In.

Five styles arrive in one box and the surprise is part of the product, while the planting stays constant for every item inside.
Layer three: the understory
The Sasquatch Classic Hoodie is a daily reminder to step outside your comfort zone and into the outdoors. Who knows, maybe you'll even see bigfoot out there.
It sits at 70.40 USD against a listed 88.00, the one piece in this grove with a visible markdown on its page, in the Midnight Blue Heather Hockey colourway. The product title on that page reads Mens Sasquatch Hoodie | Recycled Materials.

Layer four: the crown
Three angles on one trucker cap, the Forest Sun Altitude Hat in Meteorite Black Graphite, with words taken from its product page and its cousins in the Altitude family.
The page opens with: Bask in the sun while showing it off. Made from organic cotton and featuring a high-profile fit, this hat is your go-to for sun-soaked days. It lists at 36.00 USD, down from 45.00.
The Altitude family is described this way: Seek out new adventures in the Altitude hat. Each mesh hat features a unique design that's inspired by the nature you're helping to protect.
A heritage cousin carries the same idea: Since 2012, we've been keeping heads warm and planting roots. Structured organic cotton front panels, recycled mesh back, and a snapback fit keep this trucker cap cool while the embroidered design steals the spotlight.

Layer five: the clearing
We're on a mission to restore the planet by planting trees and creating Earth-First, sustainably made apparel.
The factories we partner with all strive to meet the highest standards when it comes to upholding ethical labour rights. We make sure that workers are properly compensated with fair wages, ensuring proper rest days and access to equal employment opportunities for both men and women.
Our goal is to plant 1 billion trees with you by 2030. Every piece on this page is one small step in that count.
Layer six: the tag
The tag is where the promise becomes something you can check. It works in three short steps.
Each item carries a code specific to the trees you've helped plant, printed where you would expect a size label.
Once your code is registered, you can track your trees, see where they're planted, and learn about the communities you're uplifting.
The more trees you register, the bigger your impact. Plus, you can earn 25 Reward Points for each code you register, which can be redeemed for cash discounts.
Using veritree technology, the Impact Wallet shows what trees you've planted, where they are — and how they're helping our planet. The pieces below carry that tag: the Bluffs Cropped Crew, 78.00 USD. Hope you like comfy, we sure do. We designed this oversized crew with TreeFleece — one of our softest fleeces.

Layer seven: the ledger
Brands with a Climate Neutral label measure and offset all of the emissions it takes to run their business. This page's climate-action numbers are printed here exactly as the brand lists them, in tonnes of CO2e.
The hoodie in the photos is the Juniper Cork Patch Hoodie, 88.00 USD. Designed for fall but perfect for any season, this hoodie combines comfort with our beloved juniper design.
Layer eight: the grove
Planting does not stop at the till. Three programmes keep the count going once the order has shipped.
Join our Rewards Program to earn points that can be used as a cash on future purchases. One tier reads: Spend $250.00 to become a Climate Conscious.
Register trees and get your own virtual forest island that will change as you plant.
Plant trees monthly to offset your lifestyle or just to help your planet cool off. Climate+ packages include the Daily Driver at 12.00 USD and Family Tree, One Month at 20.00 USD.
Layer nine: fibre and bark
Materials matter. They matter when it comes to the life of our clothes, or the way we feel as we live in them. But most importantly, they matter for our earth.
Because hemp is such a densely growing, hearty plant, it's naturally resistant to competing plants and pests. Best of all, hemp returns 60-70% of the nutrients it takes from the soil.

And though 98% of all of our products are eco-friendly, we're always looking to innovate with new materials and methods, like recycled nylon, cotton and naturally dyed or undyed fabrics.

The photograph behind this card shows a long table under the trees, which is a fair picture of what an email list is for: being invited before the sale, not after it.
Layer ten: the parcel
Since 2018 we've replaced plastic bags with a method of packaging our items by rolling and tying them with recyclable paper twine. When customers order bulk orders, we use 1 master poly bag that's fully recyclable. Of all our products, 85-90% no longer use individual poly bags.
At checkout, Order Protection & Plant 1 Tree covers your purchase in case of issues during shipping, such as theft or damage. Additionally, the shipping offset helps reduce environmental impact by planting an extra tree to sequester carbon emissions.
Paying over time is covered too. Split any purchase into 4 equal, biweekly and interest-free payments—without fees when you pay on time.

Field notes
I’m travelling with it right now and it’s perfect to keep all the valuables and necessities at hand with out being too bulky, and it fits in my larger backpack when I don’t need it on the trail
That is one voice among the 16 reviews on the Conway Hip Pack page, the same bag that opens the count at the top of this walk.
Short reviews like this are the useful kind: they say what the bag carried, where it went and how it behaved on a moving body, which is more than a star rating can.

Layer eleven: the roots
All the tree planting answers in one place. These are the questions the brand's own FAQ page lists, each one linking straight to it.
Each question opens the official answer page on the brand's site, so nothing here is paraphrased or guessed.

Layer thirteen: the standards
Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We have one of the highest scores in our category, and were awarded Best For the World in Community in 2021.
Besides offsetting our emissions, we're constantly striving for new ways to make our processes more circular and less impactful.
These two lines are the outside checks printed on the brand's own pages. The Science Based Targets logo in the card beside them is the third, a reminder that the numbers in the ledger above are meant to be measured against something other than a slogan.

Ten trees ride along with each piece in your cart, and shipping is free on orders over $100.
